Welding is a combination of science and art. Our welders are qualified according to the American Welding Society (AWS) and ASME Section IX, with valid Welder Qualification Records (WQR) for the processes and materials they perform. Additionally, we have properly qualified and registered Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).
We perform welding in multiple processes: SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding), GMAW (MIG), GTAW (TIG), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and SAW (Submerged Arc Welding), always following qualified procedures. Our welding inspectors (Level 2 according to SNQC Petrobras or AWS CWI) ensure quality at all stages: joint preparation, execution, visual inspection, and non-destructive testing.
We serve industries with strict welding quality requirements: offshore (where failures can be catastrophic), naval (subject to classification society certification), port (high cyclic loads), and industrial (aggressive environments with corrosion and temperature).
Welding Processes:
- SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) – All positions
- GMAW (MIG) – Spray transfer and short-circuiting
- GTAW (TIG) – Root pass and finishes
- FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) – High productivity
- SAW (Submerged Arc Welding) – High-quality longitudinal welds
Materials:
- Carbon Steel (ASTM A36, A572 Gr. 50, API 5L)
- Stainless Steel (AISI 304, 316, Duplex 2205)
- Aluminum (5xxx and 6xxx series)
Qualifications:
- AWS D1.1 (Structural)
- ASME Section IX (Pressure Vessels & Piping)
- API 1104 (Pipelines)
- ISO 9606 (European Standard)
